He's learned all sorts of new things lately, and is now a pro at the army crawl. He still gets up and rocks back and forth, but that tends to send him backwards instead of forwards. He's also trying to pull himself up on the furniture, and is about half-way successful before he gets too frustrated. But if we prop him up, he'll stand there for several minutes.
He LOVES fruit baby food, and is still eating like a champ. He's also discovered that the bumper pad of his crib moves and there are slats behind it! Every morning when he hears me come in his room, he pulls down the pad and looks through the bars and gets SO excited.
He had his first taste of twizzlers - thanks to daddy - and my parents dog, Kai, had a taste too - gross!
He's also taken a ride down his very first slide with Poppi (my dad) at Trail Dust the other night - it didn't even phase him. He's such a stud! :)
These are the excitement of our days lately, and he is doing so much to make us laugh. Oh, his hair is also getting curly in the back, so I'll post pictures of that soon.
I just can't get enough of this kid! :)

How sweet :) Happy 8th month to you, Lil' C! And I'm in no way surprised that you fit right back into your skinny clothes:) Did you do anything in particular? You always were a healthy eater.
RYC - YIPPEEEEE :) Thanks for the advice. I'm going to check out the Motherhood site now (even though Dot is just a Dot and won't be anything more for some time) and see if they're having the clearance sale on-line. About the coke: caffienated? I don't get too nauseated, so right now, a few little crackers usually cure me until I eat dinner. But you never know if it's gonna hit big time...

He is so cute! I can't believe it has already been eight months. Time goes by so fast. I have been feeling pretty good just heavy. I just have a hard time adjusting to all this added weight. Josh and I are getting really excited to meet this little man. My church had a shower for me yesterday and we got a lot of nice stuff. Someone bought me the Boppy! I was so excited. I remember you were the first one to tell me to make sure that I got that. Thanks. I use it with my kids at the daycare and now I have one for my own little guy. Well, I guess I should have written you an email instead. Oh well, talk to ya soon again.
