Progress!!

I had a doctor appointment today. I'm 36 weeks, so she checked me - I'll leave it at that. Just wanted you to know that I'm not dialated yet, but I am 40% effaced. If you don't know what that is, we'll just say it's progress, and if you want more info, then you can google it. At any rate, I am encouraged. Only 4 more weeks till my due date!!

Also, we are headed back to Texarkana tomorrow morning to visit that church again. Please be praying for Cary and I as we visit and lead worship. Please specifically pray that God speaks clearly to us as to the direction he would like us to take.

Have a happy weekend!! :)
Melissa

Hey Melissa,
Yeah to these blogspots. It was so nice meeting some new girlfriends. All because of someone's blog. Hope the baby and you are doing fine. I have had a rough weekend. I have been to the ER twice in two days due to a skin infection which we think it was caused by a spider bite. Not fun! So now they have me all drugged up. It stinks.

Hey Melissa,
Don't you just love those kinds of checkups!!! To me, that was the most uncomfortable out of everything! Your wording in your blog cracked me up...only a mother! Well, take it easy these last few weeks, and enjoy time just the two of you! By the way, how are you so tan in your shower pics? That was one thing that I wasn't...I couldn't tan very well in the sun, I would just burn while I was pregnant. Well, you look great! Can't wait to see pics of the little man.

Hey Alicia! Hope you're feeling better - you poor thing!!

Deborah - you are so right!! They are the absolute worst!! And actually, the tan was because I had fried in the sun the week before on accident! Normally I only tan and don't burn, but obviously that is different with all of these hormones. I even had blisters - yuck! But I did get a nice tan out of it :) Thanks for the encouragement and wisdom! We are excited for Carson to get here, but are doing our best to cherish these last few weeks.

Thanks for your posts everyone!! :)

Melissa,

Hey how did the trip to Texarkana go??? And did your doctors say that the baby might be late or on time???

I'm anxious to see pictures of Carson

Hey Michelle!
The doctors said that I'll either be early or right on time - yeah!!! :) Hopefully they are right, because I just can't wait! :)

Texarkana went really well, and Cary and I are feeling a lot of peace about it. I think Cary and Pastor Jimmy will probably talk business in the next couple of weeks, so we'll see what happens. Please keep praying for us throughout all of this! It will be a big transition if we continue to move forward.

Thanks for thinking of us!! :) And I'm sure I will be posting pictures of Carson as soon as we have them.
