This is Cary...I wanted to update everyone as to the latest news. Melissa went to the doctor today to have her normal weekly checkup. Carter's heart rate was a little low so the doc decided to monitor her for about 30 minutes. He also felt compelled to do an ultrasound...which turned out to be a good thing as most of the fluid around the baby was gone. He told Melissa to go ahead and get her bag and head to the hospital to be monitored for a couple hours. As soon as we arrived the RN began taking information down and by the time she was done her Doc had relayed a message to the resident doctor that it was time to induce her and not risk it.
So...we are currently at the hospital and Meissa has been on Pitocin for about 3 hours. They just upped it significantly and she is now actually feeling the contractions (which are 2-3 minutes apart). We will post as soon as we have any more news or a new baby boy. Pictures will of course be posted ASAP! :)
