Sorry, family, friends and bloggers. I'm afraid I've been a bit lax on my posts lately. I have had several posts on my mind, but am waiting for projects to be completed so that I can share before and after pictures, so they will have to wait for a bit. :)
Cary's Mom and sister, Emily came to visit us last week. We had so much fun, and Carson and Caden loved all of the extra attention! We celebrated Cary's birthday on Tuesday, the 11th with a wonderful dinner out. During the week, we spent some time shopping of course, and Carson got the CUTEST shoes! He got a slick pair of brown dressy-ish shoes for church and such, a make-you-run-super-fast pair of white tennis shoes. And his very first pair of SNOW BOOTS! They were on sale, and I can't begin to tell you how excited I am that he got them! Winter will be so fun since he can stay warm and still play in the snow! :) Just wait for all of the fun pictures I will have! DeAnne and I also rode the Pikes Peak Cog Railway with the boys, which Carson absolutely loved. It's a long ride, and when we were done, he still wanted back on. I'm going to have to look for more train adventures, I think. We took lots of pictures from there visit, but they are all on DeAnne's camera, so I will post them as soon as I get them. Here is the only picture I took on my camera while they were here....but isn't it sweet! :)
Caden is doing better with his breathing treatments, and we are now just down to doing them as needed. Yay!
He is about to cut his two front teeth though, and is becoming super congested again...ugghh! I'm beginning to feel like the cycle will never end. He is super busy and always on the move, and has been trying to pull up on things lately. I've already baby proofed our stairs because he has gotten so fast. Here he is standing in his seat at one of our favorite hangouts - Red Robin... YUM!
On Saturday, we took the boys to their first pro baseball game. The Rockies didn't play well at all, but it was fun to go anyway. Carson took part of one of my very favorite childhood memories...peanuts & baseball games! :)
He ate almost an entire bag all by himself, and loved shelling them. Truth be told, he was more interested in peanuts than baseball, but we were quite a ways up. We were right behind home plate though, and our friend, Brandon, caught a foul ball. Since it was a night game, Cary and I took turns in this position: (although I will admit, Cary spent more time here than I did...thanks, babe!)
It was a lot of fun!

Caden is getting so big. The pic of him doing the breathing treatment he looks so much like Carson. Can't wait to see all of the pics from the family visit! Sounds like you guys are doing well.
Your boys are growing up! I'm so glad I will get to meet the latest addition to the fam in Dec :) Maybe I'll get to see the sporty snow boots...I'm hoping to have some of my own by then. lol.
Hey girl!!! I have been wondering what ya'll have been up to!!..:) Looks like you have been very busy lately. Cannot believe it is almost October...Already!! I have Parker and Jackson's birthdays...Parker's is on the 17th and Jack's is on the 29th....I love celebrating their birthdays but the only things that has ever been a downer about them being born in october is how close it is to Christmas. They get so much for their birthdays...then I have to have them make a new list for Christmas which at times they dont know what to ask for b/c they got things they really wanted for their birthday. I have been horrible about blogging lately....I just don't have as much time to do it.....I have been waiting and doing my homework after the kids go to bed, so that they wont feel like they are interupting me and of coarse so I can concentrate better. I am so glad to hear Caden is doing better....I sure hope hope the cutting more teeth thing wont interfere in his progress. So great to see all the new pics and see what you guys have been up to...talk to ya soon. Brittney
Hayden always has to do breathing treatments every time she teeths. If he continues on this congestion path, you could ask your pediatrician about a daily Singulair. It really has helped us manage Hayden in the in between stages so the flare ups are a little less strong. She also does a Pulmacort breathing treatment along with the albuterol. Supposedly the pulmacort is a manager and the albuterol is the one that fights the bad stuff when she is really sick.
Hope that he grows out of it though. Don't hesitate to ask me any questions...I feel like I am a child respiratory specialist by now. We have taken so many different steriods and decongestants, breathing treatments...the works :)
The game looked so fun. I love going to baseball games! I can't wait to take Hayden to her first one.

I am convinced our sons would love playing together!! :) :) :) I cracked up when Carson was trying to talk to you guys about the "full moon" and Cary kept saying, "go, go, yeah go, ok go!" :) So funny...reminded me a bit of Derek! I can't wait for the project updates...I too am doing the same thing...it takes time, that's for sure! The pic of the sun setting made me want to come for a visit!
