A Nursery, A Check Up, Bathing & Belated Birthday Pictures & A Reception

Lots of important milestones...some current...some from a month ago, but all things I'll want to remember in 20 or so years. :) SO, here we go...oldest to newest...

At the end of August, my mom threw Lauren and my brother Nathaniel a wedding shower/reception for all of our local friends and family. Their wedding is in November, and I'm so excited to get to shoot it! It will be so fun to be a part of their day and get to do what I love at the same time! That same weekend, we celebrated Carter's 2nd birthday since my siblings were in town. It was just a small family party, but lots of fun all the same. The highlight of the party was the 3 dozen balloons we got for our sweet 2 year old who is CRAZY for balloons! Here are just a few pics...








And finally to the present.... two nights ago, we gave Caleb his very first bath. He loved it and he hated it...poor little guy couldn't make up his mind. Truthfully, the only thing that makes him upset is being cold, so I half expected a cry fest, but he did well considering everything. Carter was in the bathtub while Caden got his bath in the sink. Carter's been dodging in front of my camera every time I have it out, so he was sure to get in the picture game (although he didn't want to LOOK at the camera) while we were getting everything ready for Caleb's bath. :) He's a funny kid, that Carter!

Caleb also had his 2 week check up yesterday, and all looks good! He's up to 6 lbs. 13 ounces, so he's gained 13 ounces since leaving the hospital 10 days ago!! Woot!! He's also 20 inches long now. :)

And finally, Caleb's float wraps for his room arrived today, and I couldn't wait to get them hung! His nursery is finally finished, and I just had to share! :)
