Two Teeth

The first came in on March 11, and the second one which is just barely visible in this picture came in Wednesday. :)

A Last First

Caleb being our last baby is bittersweet for me. Truth be told, if money were not necessary and I could get Cary to sign up, I would have another baby...or two...but we live in the real world. :) Part of me is a little sad this is our last go around. But another part of me, a bigger part, is very excited for things to come...for growing up together, for knowing Jesus, for school and sports and friends and...and...and. :) So I'm savoring the moments and trying to live in them and not focus quite so much on the last part that makes me feel a bit weapy.

Caleb is nearing 5 1/2 months now and he has started waking a bit more at night, so I decided it's time to start baby food to help him be a little more satisfied. I wanted to wait because I'm just not ready for him to be this big, but it just didn't make sense to be selfish about it. So this morning we did our last first baby cereal. Since I was trying to live in the moment, you get some picture overload! :) I just adore this boy.











He did pretty well all things considered. I would guess he probably swallowed about half of what I spooned in. The toughest part was getting the spoon in. He just didn't know what to do with it and would make a face like "WHY are you putting that thing IN.MY.MOUTH???" Funny. :)
